Following on from last week’s show about the problem of getting on top of the paperwork and processes in your business, this week Julie’s guests discuss the solutions and suggest tools and tips for Getting yourself organised.

  • Susanne Barthelmes has spent more than 20 working years in a variety of business environments and organisations, both public and private sector. For many years she worked in international arts and event management, focusing on business and project development and administration. Her company All Sorted! Consulting helps people with all forms of business and office organisation.
  • Curtis James trains people in Getting Things Done, helping them to free their minds for the more creative and interesting things in life. He does this through his business People Who Do, both at regular workshops and at clients’ offices on a one-to-one basis.
  • Joanne Munro is a freelance PA with an events background and a keen interest in social media. She has her own company, Munro PA Services, offering services to entrepreneurs, small businesses, consultants and freelancers.

  • Joanne Munro is a freelance PA with an events background and a keen interest in social media. She has her own company, Munro PA Services, offering services to entrepreneurs, small businesses, consultants and freelancers.

  • Al Tredinnick runs his own sales coaching business, Al Treddinick Consulting. Prior to setting up his business, Al was Sales Manager at Nido Marketing and has been a teacher of sales and leadership, and also a bank manager.
  • Phil Thompson is a business advisor for Business Link where he’s been for the past 5 years. Before he joined Business Link, Phil ran a software company employing 40 staff, selling CRM systems.
  • Jeremy Spiller is a regular guest on the show. Jeremy is managing director of award-winning web development and SEO company, White Hat Media. He is a regular expert speaker at events across the UK.

The business world has gone social media crazy. For those who haven’t taken the plunge yet, what exactly is social media, and how and where do you begin?  This week’s expert guests help you with your Social media mastery.

Joining Julie again this week are:

  • Steve Bustin has been running his PR and Media consultancy, Vada Media, for 8 years. He is also a freelance journalist working for The Times, the Gay Times and the Pink Paper.  Prior to this Steve has worked as a journalist for the BBC.
  • Vicki Hughes has been running her own PR consultancy for almost a year and has been a PR consultant for 15 years. Before setting up her own business, Vicki was a director of Midnight Communications as well as working for Porter Novelli and Golley Slater in London.
  • Nick Witcher began his career in internet marketing in 1998 and has worked mainly in the games industry.  He set up the digital marketing agency Witch Hazel in 2007 working predominantly in the entertainment industry. Nick is also a director of RedBedlam one of Britain’s only Virtual World developers.
