Unless you take the time to look closely at your products or services, you might never know whether they’re pleasing your customers… and pleasing your accountant. Our guests in the studio this week ask you, Are your products (or services) performing?

Business as Usual: Perfecting your PR (Series 3 – Show 1)

How do you tell the world about your fantastic business? Well, you can advertise, and you can create leaflets and posters and a great website… but you should also do what the bigger businesses do and put effort into your PR. This week’s expert guests talk about Perfecting your PR.

Julie is joined this week by:

  • Steve Bustin has been running his PR and Media consultancy, Vada Media, for 8 years. He is also a freelance journalist working for The Times, the Gay Times and the Pink Paper.  Prior to this Steve has worked as a journalist for the BBC.
  • Vicki Hughes has been running her own PR consultancy for almost a year and has been a PR consultant for 15 years. Before setting up her own business, Vicki was a director of Midnight Communications as well as working for Porter Novelli and Golley Slater in London.
  • Nick Witcher began his career in internet marketing in 1998 and has worked mainly in the games industry.  He set up the digital marketing agency Witch Hazel in 2007 working predominantly in the entertainment industry. Nick is also a director of RedBedlam one of Britain’s only Virtual World developers.
